It would be remiss of us not to acknowledge the foundations the masters of the original wave of craft beer laid for us to do what we do today here at Polly’s. Those trailblazers from the United States walked so we can now run, and Morning in LA is our simultaneous tribute to those innovators whilst holding one foot firmly in the modern era. With a one hour boil, and hot side addition of Simcoe in the whirlpool, we’ve set a base of smooth and resinous bitterness to kick this beer off, before a cold side addition of Mosaic and Strata brings bright, punchy citrus notes with those unmistakable slick cannabis smoke notes to underlay a dank edge to this crisp, ultra drinkable modern West Coast IPA / 6.2% / 440ml
