Rotkäppchen is a "rotbier" or red lager. Originating in Nuremberg, this style of lager is brewed with a specially roasted malt, in our case Red X from Best Maltings in Heidelberg, Germany. Ours was lagered slowly for 7 weeks. The result is a stunning red lager with a very pale tan foamy head / 4.4% / 440ml
